Sogaike Ruin
A village in the late Yayoi period called a “Highland village” located on the ridge of the hill in the northeastern part of Soga-Ike pond.
A part of the village, which had been excavated at the time of developing Tsuruyamadai area into a housing tract, has been preserved as a Tsuruyamadai Sogaike park because of its importance. By the recent excavation associated with the renovation of the park, this was confirmed as the large community after a scale-down of Ikegami-Sone ruins and the whole park was to become a city designated ruins.
In the park eight pit houses have been conserved. This park keeps old landform well as it sued to be.
