Hijiri shrine

The third shrine in Izumi-no-Kuni. The whole neighborhood of Shinodayama Kyuryo Hill is in the area of the shrine and “Shinoda-no-Mori” had been referenced in poetry as a representative forest in ancient Japan.

The main hall of the current shrine reconstructed by Toyotomi Hideyori and Massha Taki subordinate shrine and Massha San subordinate shrine have been designated as national important cultural property. The main hall of Massha Hiraoka shrine is designated as cultural property by Osaka Prefecture.
