Wooden statue of seated Dainichi Nyorai in Rakan-ji temple

In Rakan-ji temple, where roof tiles in Asuka period had been excavated, splendid Buddha of the Keiha School in Kamakura period has been handed down.

Life sized wooden statue of seated Dainchi Nyorai, designated as city cultural property, was carved by a sculptor in a legitimate line of Keiha school of Buddha statues.
