Kasuga shrine/Mibayashi clustered tumuli

In the forest around the precinct of Kasuga shrine, which is the local Shinto deity in Mibayashi-cho area, there remain small earthen tumuli, which are cluster of Mibayashi tumuli.

There used to be about one hundred, but now only twenty mounds in the precinct. They are surrounded by a moat and there being some horizontal stone chamber made of river stones opened.
