Gosho shrine
Upper part of the beam of its main shrine has already been restored in 1923 , but the pillars and crossbeams and other particulars are the same as they were constructed. According to the sign staked to a building ridgepole in 1579, it seems to have been built during 1521~1527.
Gosho shrine has several similarities in common with the main shrine of Tajihayahime shrine constructed in 1541 in Sakai, national important cultural property, so it was designated as cultural asset, the existent oldest wooden building in Izumi City in 2013.
