Shinoda Kitsunezuka Tumulus

Shinoda Kitsunezuka Tumulus

Large keyhole-shaped tomb with total length of 58m constructed in the 6th century. This is the only late large keyhole-shaped tumulus of Shinoda Senzuka Kofungun. This tumulus was constructed at west bottom of the Shinodayama Kyuryo Hill and shows us lower reaches of Makio River.

Recent survey shows that the trench for military exercises having been built before the war was found, so this must be thought priceless as the war related site.
